The Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation (GAGDC) was founded in 2001 by an association of local community leaders to revitalize Auburn Gresham and several surrounding Chicago underserved communities on the south side. GAGDC driven by community created strategies outlined in the Auburn Gresham Quality of Life Plan offers five primary pillars of service to maintain, sustain and grow healthy communities: 

1) Business and Economic Development
2) Education and Youth Services
3) Health and Wellness
4) Housing and Senior Services
5) Community Engagement
