The Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) is a downtown Columbus, Ohio, hospitality venue located at 400 North High Street and owned and developed by the Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority. A $140 million expansion and renovation completed in July 2017 resulted in about 1.8 million square feet of space, including 373,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space, 114,000 square feet of ballroom space, and 75 meeting rooms comprising roughly 118,000 square feet. The center features 4,000 on-site parking spaces across four facilities, 35 loading docks, a South Café & Marketplace, two Guest Services Centers, a free-standing nursing mother's room, and energy-efficient design elements such as LED lighting; it is connected to five hotels by enclosed sky bridges and is across from the Arena District and Short North Arts District. The facility houses the indoor Smartfarm producing nearly 5,000 pounds of vegetables and herbs annually for culinary use, with any surplus donated to local charities; it also hosts the largest contemporary collection of Franklin County art and supports collaboration spaces, with internet capabilities for up to 20,000 simultaneous users and an exclusive caterer, Levy, operating Discovery Cafe. The center employs between 51 and 200 people and operates within the hospitality sector; in March 2026, Dean Dennis was appointed as general manager.
