The Greater Dayton Surgery Center was founded in 2007 by a group of physicians who wanted to provide a state of the art facility in the suburbs to their patients for a variety of outpatient surgical procedures. Affiliated with Kettering Health Network, the Greater Dayton Surgery Center is a full service surgery center with a qualified staff of surgeons and registered nurses with varying backgrounds in pediatric care, adult care and senior care.

In addition, the center has stringent safety standards and extremely low rates of infection. As well as on-going medical education and certification requirements for the staff in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
