Founded in 1929, the Greater Houston Port Bureau is a member driven, non-profit trade organization dedicated to promoting commerce and cooperation in the maritime industry. Today, the Port Bureau helps over 240 member companies work together to promote cooperation and efficiency within the community to provide:

•	Port Information-monthly magazine, port updates, special projects, and grant writing
