Greater Lawrence Technical School (GLTS) is a regional technical high school serving the four communities of Andover, Lawrence, Methuen, and North Andover. We are fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. At GLTS, students explore each career and technical program during freshman year. With career counseling and guidance from dedicated support staff, they can make informed choices about their path — whether that leads to college or directly into a career. Career Vocational and Technical Education (CVTE) is central to the GLTS experience. Students spend nearly 50% of their time learning technical skills and knowledge that prepare them for employment before graduation. All Career and Technical programs are Chapter 74 approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and aligned with the Massachusetts CVTE Frameworks. Students also work toward earning a Certificate of Proficiency in their chosen program before graduation.
