Green Career Advisor was founded in 2016 by Lisa Yee-Litzenberg who has spent over 22 years as a green career expert. She is passionate about helping clients find their green career niche and to secure their dream jobs. Lisa also works with employers to help them create environmental internship programs and colleges to conduct environmental career presentations and workshops.
 
Prior to launching Green Career Advisor, Lisa led the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and Environment’s graduate career services for 10 years where she assisted hundreds of students in finding their career niche and securing dream internships and jobs. She also cultivated thousands of green employer connections across the country and globally which allows her to connect clients with real people working in green career fields.

Lisa is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator and is active in the career services profession. She is a member of the National Career Development Association, a Preferred Career Coach with the University of Michigan Alumni Association, a Career Thought Leader Associate, and a Contributing Writer for Idealist Careers and The Campus Career Coach.
 
Prior to working at the U-M School of Natural Resources and Environment, she completed a Bachelor of Science degree from there. Afterwards, she spent 12 years working for the National Wildlife Federation on water policy and  wolf conservation efforts, as well as developing students and women to become leaders in the environmental field.
