Green Polymeric Materials is a Detroit-based manufacturing company that produces injection molded polyurethane foam components that contain recycled tire rubber and soy-based raw materials. Since 2002, the company has been producing seals and gaskets for a number of automotive applications, particularly HVAC. The material competes with vulcanized EPDM rubber and provides a number of performance benefits related to water repulsion, noise reduction, vibration reduction, and consistency in product. Importantly, our time to market is significantly lower than the competition due to significantly lower tooling cost, lower cycle time in production, and in-house molding and chemical expertise. We are also able to make changes to parts more quickly the competition for these reasons. We have produced over 100 million parts that have been shipped to over 15 countries.
