Greenbrook Sanctuary is a 165-acre woodland preserve located on the Palisades in Tenafly and Alpine, New Jersey, about 4.7 miles north of the George Washington Bridge along U.S. Route 9W. The sanctuary is administered for the use of its members by the Palisades Nature Association, a nonprofit founded in 1947 to preserve the Palisades' natural character and to develop a wild sanctuary in the Greenbrook area. The site provides a place within the metropolitan area where people can study nature and enjoy a peaceful, undisturbed setting.

The Palisades Nature Association runs programs at Greenbrook Sanctuary, including weekly field trips focused on nature, geology, and ecology, as well as illustrated lectures and group programs by appointment. These programs are conducted by a professional naturalist. In addition, the association maintains annual censuses of flora and fauna to document changes in the sanctuary's biodiversity.
