Greene Street Friends School is a Quaker educational institution serving primary and secondary students in the Germantown area of Philadelphia. Its enrollment reflects Philadelphia's diversity, and the community centers on respect for every person and on resolving disagreements nonviolently, informed by Quaker beliefs. The school offers a holistic curriculum aimed at developing students academically, socially, physically, and spiritually, with emphasis on self-advocacy, resilience, leadership, and creativity through its Life Skills program. It pursues partnerships with Germantown neighbors and fosters an inclusive culture that honors differences in ability, language, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, family structure, and family income. In 2018, Greene Street Friends initiated a series of student queries addressing the possibility of gender-neutral bathrooms, reflecting its approach to inclusivity.
