The Greenwich Botanical Center (formerly the Garden Education Center of Greenwich) is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to promoting horticulture, conservation, and the arts through educational programs, outreach activities, and special events. We continue to offer an informative selection of workshops, trips, and lectures in horticulture, floral design, and conservation for all skill levels, including professionals seeking Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System (LACES) credits. Each of these programs is taught by esteemed professionals in their respective fields. The public’s financial support has allowed this organization to enhance the community’s appreciation and enjoyment of nature through horticulture, conservation, and the arts since 1957. The GEC does not receive any funding from government sources. Income is comprised of membership and program fees, special events such as our Annual May Gardener’s Market and the Annual Greenwich Garden Tour, as well as our Annual Fund. We are located in the Montgomery Pinetum Park in Cos Cob, CT.
