The City of Greer's economic development department works to increase  wealth creating opportunities while preserving the high quality of life in one of South Carolina’s fastest growing communities. We are primarily focused on recruitment and retention of businesses involved in manufacturing, commercial, and office activities. We are also responsible for coordinating the recruitment activities for historic downtown Greer.
