Grey Dawn Farm is a small family owned dressage training board business in Warwick, NY. Vanessa and her mother Cindy owned and ran the operation since 1995 and since Cindy’s untimely passing in 2016, Vanessa now runs the business with her partner and husband, Javier.  Vanessa is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist and has also competed successfully trough Intermediaire I & 2. She has produced & sold several FEI level dressage horses and also has an extensive eventing background having produced & sold more than 15 Training Level event horses and 5 Prelim Level horses. Vanessa has worked with many top professionals in dressage and eventing over a span of 25 years and is able to bring her knowledge to bear when training horses or teaching lessons.

Vanessa teaches with patience, positive reinforcement and with a light-hearted & easy-going manner. She gives the horse and rider confidence and enjoyment, allowing them to progress quickly with the many tools and “light bulb” moments she gives them. The emphasis at GDF is on quality not quantity.
