Griffin Motion was founded in 2005 specifically focusing on the high precision OEM stage market. Through excellence in engineering, manufacturing, and customer service success was quickly found. We applied our talents to the most challenging tasks in the market place and started with low to mid volume projects.

Our hard work and commitment has allowed us to continue to grow and at the beginning of 2008 we moved into our new manufacturing facility. We also brought machining capabilities in house for rapid prototyping and custom work allowing us to reduce lead times and offer highly competitive prices on low volume work.

Our design philosophy incorporates a very high level of flexibility. Our products are highly modular designs that allow for the addition or subtraction of many options. That allows the customer specific performance requirements to be met without having to pay for options that they do not need. This process helps to standardize inventory, reduce lead times and allows for highly competitive pricing without having to buy hundreds of stages.

As we have grown we have responded to market demands by meeting the needs of customers across many sections of the market place including: Semiconductor manufacturing, Aerospace, Medical applications and research, University research, automotive testing and manufacturing, and Military projects. We have broadened our product line to include vacuum rated stages, Class 100 clean room stages and harsh environment stages.
