We are a private nonprofit dedicated to the sustainable restoration of the lower Mill Creek watershed and to building the Mill Creek Greenway Hike/Bike Trail to connect communities from northern Cincinnati to the Ohio River through community-based planning and empowerment, environmental education, and economically sound ecological restoration.

Groundwork Cincinnati/Mill Creek (formerly Mill Creek Restoration Project) is a dynamic, community-based nonprofit with a successful track record. Its mission is to serve as a catalyst for developing sustainability in the Mill Creek watershed through collaboration with diverse public/private partners, boots-on-the-ground work to regenerate vital natural resources, and capacity building for youth and adults.   

MCRP has 4 staff & a 16-member volunteer board. Graduate student interns and paid fieldwork trainees from low income neighborhoods assist with fieldwork.
