Managem is a pan-African mining group with a history spanning more than ninety years, maintaining a diversified portfolio that includes gold, metals used in the energy transition, and, more recently, natural gas. The company operates across the full mining cycle—from exploration through to marketing—and is active in seven African countries, including its base in the Casablanca-Settat region of Morocco. It emphasizes responsible mining aligned with international environmental, social, and governance standards, including a zero-incident safety commitment, and is majority-owned by Al Mada, a pan-African private investment fund. In December 2024, Managem announced the full acquisition of the Karita gold exploration project in Guinea from IAMGOLD, expanding its African footprint. The group continues to develop its mining projects and pursue partnerships to support its activities across the continent.
