IDESA is one of the most outstanding Mexican business groups, with 60 years of experience in the national market and an active presence in international markets. It is integrated by four divisions: Petrochemical, Distribution, Construction Systems and Logistics, operating production and marketing companies through strategic alliances of recognized prestige and market leaders.

The Petrochemical Division is leader in the petrochemical production  products in Mexico, such as Ethylene Glycols, Ethanolamines, Phthalic Anhydride, Dioctyl Phthalate and Expandable Polystyrene. It also markets other products such as Propylene Glycols, Maleic Anhydride, 2-Ethyl Hexanol, Styrene Monomer and Polystyrene Resins.

The Construction Systems Division, created in 2005 as a result of a strategic alliance with the Canadian petrochemical company Nova Chemicals, offers products based on expanded polystyrene (EPS) such as mezzanine panels, partition walls and insulating shoring, which provide important benefits to builders and customers. It also markets a wide range of paints, coatings and architectural finishes.

The Distribution Division, created in 2007, is leader in the chemical and solvent distribution sector in Mexico. It has a technical-commercial area especially oriented to satisfy the Automotive Sector requirements and demands.
