Guardian Veterinary Specialists, a new 29,000 square foot advanced, state-of-the-art emergency, critical care and specialty hospital located at 4 Hardscrabble Heights in Brewster, NY. Equipped with the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies, the facility offers comprehensive services in virtually all veterinary disciplines, including Emergency and Critical Care 24/7/365, as well as specialty services in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Rehabilitation, Diagnostic Imaging, Dentistry, and Behavior.  Guardian even has its own on-site diagnostic laboratory, Bloodhound Laboratories, which also extends its services to local veterinary hospitals.

The recipient of numerous awards, a published author and much sought after lecturer, Dr. Berg has also received much recognition for his compassionate work with animal shelters and the rescue community.
GVS serves referring veterinarians, pet owners and pets in Putnam, Dutchess, Westchester, Fairfield, Litchfield, Orange, Rockland and Bronx counties.
