Guidance Capital manages hedge fund of funds for institutions and high net worth investors.  

Guidance Capital was founded in 2001 and is dedicated to thoughtful design of hedged vehicles and to thorough research of the hedge fund managers. 

Guidance Capital is set up to develop and manage multi-manager fund of hedge fund products. The Firm manages a series of hedge funds that fall under the broad categories of absolute return funds (Green Terrain Funds) and equity long/short (Blue Terrain Funds) in addition to the Managed Futures Fund. Clients interested in investing with Guidance Capital can either invest directly in the specific strategy or through allocation funds that in turn invest in specific strategy funds. Guidance distinguishes its products in three ways: (i) by emphasizing specialist managers, (ii) by providing modularity for institutional investors, and (iii) by performing excellent manager research. 

Guidance is structured as a research organization. The firm’s investment professionals have unusual breadth of professional portfolio management experience and have managed, respectively, equity portfolios, bond portfolios and a futures trading operation. Each has researched and invested in alternative vehicles on an institutional level for much of their careers
