Guinness Telli*Phone Corporation, also identified as Telli Marin, operates in the IT services and IT consulting sector with a focus on local, regionally targeted online directories. The company envisions building mini Internet search sites that compile local business listings and provide each listing with a basic page that includes a location map and additional details to assist local residents immediately, while offering advertisers affordable tools to manage and enhance their information to boost local exposure. Its model aims to connect local businesses seeking to reduce advertising costs with residents and visitors who use the sites for classifieds, reviews, and listings for events and activities. Based in Tiburon, California, the organization describes plans to license or franchise these mini-site projects to area-driven entrepreneurs who can run them as their own businesses, supported by a site administrator program and in-person advertising assistance. The company operates in a broader IT services and consulting context, positioning itself around community-focused, locally sourced digital advertising and web design solutions. A prototype site, Telli Marin, is referenced as part of its operational footprint and proof-of-concept activity. Recent news mentions the broader Telli Technologies umbrella achieving pre-seed funding, signaling external validation of the initiative, though this overview remains anchored to the provided company description and context.
