Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver builds and preserves affordable homeownership in the five-county Denver Metro area. An affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Habitat Denver is one branch of a global, nonprofit housing organization that builds homes, communities and hope. Habitat was founded on the conviction that everyone deserves a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all. With the support and partnership of corporations, faith groups, sponsors, donors, volunteers and hard-working families, Habitat for Humanity has served more than 2,200 families since 1979. The Habitat Denver office and ReStore locations employ more than 100 individuals, partner with thousands of volunteers each year, and serve a vast number of families in our community and around the world through advocacy, partnerships and events.
