Habitat Horticulture is a mid-sized design services firm based in Berkeley, California, focused on integrating plant life into urban environments to support well-being and ecological vitality. The company frames habitat creation as a mutual ecosystem opportunity, aligning architectural spaces with living systems rather than treating greenery as an afterthought. Its specialty lies in vertical plant installations, spanning high-rise exteriors to expansive lobby spaces across North America, with turnkey living wall design, build, and maintenance, plus design-assist and related services. Its client base includes developers, architects, and property owners seeking integrated greenery in complex spaces, and its work on Salesforce Tower in San Francisco has earned a Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Award of Excellence. In 2023, it launched a coffee table featuring a sub-irrigation system.
