Handi-Crafters Opportunity Center (HCOC) is a vocational training and support provider for adults with disabilities based in Thorndale, Pennsylvania, serving Southeastern Pennsylvania. For more than 60 years, its work center has operated as a social enterprise delivering contract packaging, kitting, and assembly services to businesses, anchored in socially responsible outsourcing. The organization serves national brands and local entrepreneurs, leveraging a 10,000-square-foot warehouse and three loading docks to support just-in-time inventory management and timely turnarounds. Its service scope includes packaging, labeling, sorting, bagging, product refurbishing and re-work, display building, shrink wrapping, box assembly, and custom assembly. Beyond production work, HCOC provides vocational skill development, case management, job coaching, adult day support, and community enrichment to help participants pursue independence and competitive employment; in June 2025 Alliance Health Equity expanded its partnership with Handi-Crafters.
