Hansatech Instruments Limited designs and manufactures precision electronic scientific instruments for plant science and biomedical research. Our strong brand has been established over more than 40 years of supplying the worldwide scientific community.

We specialise in the areas of oxygen measurement (used for determination of photosynthesis and cellular respiration) and optical measurement techniques such as chlorophyll fluorescence, reflectance and absorption spectroscopy. These optical techniques are used to determine the photochemical efficiency ( "vitality" )  of plant material and/or the presence of environmental or man-made stress in plant, algae, macroalgae, moss and lichens, whether in environments such as field crops, ecology investigations, arboriculture, nursery production, plant breeding selection or under laboratory conditions.
