Based in Los Angeles, Hatch Escapes designs and operates escape room experiences that approach the format as an art form rather than a straightforward puzzle challenge. Rooms are conceived by professional artists and scripted by a New York Times bestselling author, with fabrication completed in-house. The Nest, an immersive theater experience in the building, was originally created by Scout Expedition Co. and is now managed by Hatch Escapes. 

The Ladder, the latest immersive experience, marks a different approach to immersive, story-driven gameplay and received a Thea Award in 2025. In addition to original storytelling, Hatch Escapes partners with brands to design and build interactive brand activations and immersive experiences.
