Hauser & Wirth is an international art gallery headquartered in Zurich, with origins dating to 1992 when it was founded by Iwan Wirth, Manuela Wirth, and Ursula Hauser. The founders were later joined in 2000 by Marc Payot as Partner and President, and Mirella Roma was appointed chief executive in 2024. The gallery represents more than 90 artists and estates and runs a program that encompasses exhibitions as well as education, conservation, and sustainability initiatives. Described as a family-owned operation with a global reach, Hauser & Wirth ties its artistic program to broader cultural and educational activities. In February 2026, the company announced a three-year partnership with Robert Gordon University and Gray's School of Art to extend its Mobile Art School outreach into rural northeast Scotland.
