Havana Club International S.A. is a joint venture formed in 1993 by Cuba Ron S.A., the Cuban rum producer, and the French Pernod Ricard Group to grow the Havana Club brand internationally through Pernod Ricard's distribution network. Since 1994, Havana Club has been a priority brand for Pernod Ricard, and from 2003 the company has also supervised the distribution of select Pernod Ricard international brands within Cuba. In 2007, it opened a distillery for aging rums in San José de las Lajas to meet rising demand. The company is based in Havana, Cuba, and operates in the beverage manufacturing industry with a mid-sized workforce. Havana Club is a leading premium rum brand, positioned among the top offerings in the super-premium and above segment. It exports to more than 125 countries and is known as El Ron de Cuba, the Cuban rum. In FY25, the brand's value grew by 1% as a result of premiumisation across its portfolio. In 2025, Havana Club announced the launch of a limited-edition Añejo 7 Años bottle, reflecting ongoing product activity, while continuing to reach a broad international consumer base via Pernod Ricard's distribution network.
