Our law firm was founded in 1978 by William Hayes, who quickly earned a reputation for honesty, integrity and professionalism. A former mathematics teacher, Bill put his classroom skills to work helping clients understand their legal situations.

Bill's son, Scott Hayes, joined our law firm in 1993 and continues the family tradition of quality legal services in a variety of practice areas including family law, real estate law, estate planning and probate. Bill's son, Dan Hayes, rejoined the firm in 2007 to handle civil litigation and personal injury matters after serving as Licking County's Common Pleas Court Magistrate. Attorney Melinda Seeds, who also joined the firm in 2007, affords our clients the years of family law, juvenile and criminal law experience she obtained as Licking County's chief juvenile prosecutor. Attorney Laurie Wells joined the firm in 2008 after a long career in the Licking County court system. Together, we practice a style of law that inspires trust and confidence in our clients.
