Health Care Family Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial services cooperative. As a credit union, joining HCFCU makes you a member and an owner, with profits returned to members through lower loan rates and higher savings dividends. Based in Richmond Heights, Missouri, the organization was founded in 1969 as St. Mary's Hospital Credit Union and has since grown to serve more than 100 employee groups in the health care field, along with several civic organizations. It also serves residents and employees of Richmond Heights and Maplewood, as well as family members of those groups, positioning it as a regional financial services provider with a defined community focus. In June 2023 HCFCU launched its eighth Family Discount Mondays program to support local non-profit organizations in the Quad Cities area.
