Health New Zealand – Waitaha Canterbury is a district within New Zealand's public health system that oversees hospital and health care services in the Canterbury region, including Christchurch. It is pursuing an integrated, connected model of care across primary, secondary, and tertiary services, with the aim of delivering the right care to the right person at the right time and place. Based in Christchurch, the district is the South Island's largest employer.

It operates 14 hospitals and major health facilities and serves about 550,000 people within the health system. The district maintains a formal collaboration with Health New Zealand – Te Tai o Poutini West Coast to share leadership and clinical expertise. Transformational development of new health facilities is underway at Hillmorton Campus and Christchurch Campus.
