Heartland Soccer Association is a nonprofit, educational youth soccer organization based in Overland Park, Kansas. It operates the largest youth soccer league and tournament host in the United States, serving players across recreational and premier levels. Each season, more than 170 clubs participate, with over 1,500 teams and 30,000 youth players aged 9 to 19. The league structures competition into subdivisions within many age groups to ensure teams compete against similarly skilled opponents. In addition to league play, Heartland hosts over a dozen tournaments annually on world-class turf fields, drawing hundreds of teams and tens of thousands of youth players from across 16 states and beyond, including participants from Mexico and Canada. Recent developments include the 2026 Spring League season launching with more than 1,400 teams and 24,000 players in the Kansas City area, along with events such as the Midwest College Showcase and Heartland Spring Cup.
