Hebrew Helpers is an education-focused organization that connects families and synagogues with experienced B’nai Mitzvah mentors and officiants who tailor Jewish learning to each family and community. The service encompasses Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation as well as Hebrew language instruction and general Jewish studies for children and adults, delivered through one-on-one mentoring supplemented by group and family sessions. Its target market includes diverse Jewish communities—families from various movements, unaffiliated, and interfaith families—seeking traditional guidance or creative alternatives to navigate Jewish identity through history, culture, ritual, and prayer. Based in California and New York, the organization has grown to support learners at various levels under the leadership of founder Todd Shotz since 2005, with a model that emphasizes matching families with mentors who have formal training in Jewish education and proficiency in Torah and Haftarah chanting. A recent development noted is its ongoing work across California and New York, highlighting regional expansion and ongoing mentoring programs.» }#} }#} } }} } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } }
