Heinrich Kopp GmbH is one of the leading German manufacturers of electrotechnical products and components for the specialized trade and retail. The product range comprises over 7,000 items in the segments “Professional” and “Do it yourself”. It ranges from classic plug and switch programs, dimmers, presence detectors and mobile personal protection devices to innovative home automation and building management systems, photovoltaic solutions and charging and storage technologies. In addition to stock items, Kopp also develops and produces customer-specific solutions from the electrical sector, such as industrial socket strips, the fault current circuit breaker PERCEDOS for use on electric vehicles or motor switches installed in electrical appliances. The company sells its products in numerous European countries as well as worldwide and, in addition to its German headquarters in Kahl am Main (Bavaria), maintains three further locations in the Netherlands, Austria and Tunisia. Kopp employs a total of 550 people, including 300 at its headquarters. Quality is a top priority at Kopp, which is why the company has been voluntarily audited and certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015 since 1993, has been a member of the German Association for Quality (in German: Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität e. V.) for almost 50 years, and provides a 20-year warranty on switch ranges. Sustainability has also always been an important part of the company's philosophy. Kopp strives to continuously improve its environmental performance by optimizing processes, methods and the appropriate use of materials and products. For example, Kopp has already received several awards and certifications for its measures to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and in the area of resource conservation (recycling).
