Strategic Education Partner The Helen Gordon Child Development Center operates within a university ecosystem (Portland State University) and serves PSU students, faculty, staff, and the broader Portland community, presenting a strong alignment for education-focused partnerships and grant-funded programs.

Tech Stack Fit Utilizes a diverse tech stack including cloud, analytics, and communications tools (AWS, Microsoft SQL Server, Qualtrics, New Relic, Zoom, Elasticsearch). This implies openness to hybrid solutions, data-driven programs, and tech-enabled learning or student engagement platforms.

Growth Opportunities With a small to mid-sized team (11-50 employees) and a revenue profile under $1M, there is potential for scalable partnerships in curriculum innovation, staff training, security hardening, and cost-effective tech upgrades as the program expands.

Community & Outreach Longstanding presence in Portland and collaboration with PSU suggests opportunities in parent/community engagement platforms, preschool enrichment programs, and neighborhood sponsorships or events that leverage PSU’s brand for visibility.

Competitive Landscape Listed peers include large national providers (KinderCare, Learning Care, Primrose) and a local YMCA; potential sales angles include affordable, value-driven solutions for early education operations, licensing/compliance tools, and student-family communications to compete with larger networks.
