The Hellan Strainer Company and it's engineered products division, SSI Fabricated, continue to be industry leaders as providers of strainers, deck plates, fire hose reels and refueling hose reels. 

Industrial strainers are used to remove all types of solids (such as algae, zebra mussels, sand, grit, debris, machine cutting chips, etc.) from various fluids. Our strainers continue to be on top of the market due to their reliability, efficient operation and cost savings. The difference between us and our competition is where the strainers trap unwanted solids. Trapping solids like conventional basket strainers necessitates frequent basket removal for cleaning.  The Hellan Strainer dislodges solids from the flow without disassembly. This reduces operational and maintenance costs and permits continuous flow of fluids.
