Henley Homes is a mid-sized homebuilder based in Mount Waverley, Victoria. It was founded in 1989 as Henley Properties Group by Peter Hayes, Rob Bowen and John Harvey, with a goal of making homeownership more affordable for Australian families. The company has constructed more than 60,000 homes across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia under the Henley, Plantation Homes and Edgewater Homes brands, and has operated as a local builder backed by its global parent since 2009. The parent organization, Sumitomo Forestry Group, is a diversified company with interests in forestry, timber manufacturing and housing, as well as biomass power generation. In 2026 the company announced the launch of Henley Select, a dedicated advisory service for first-time buyers to understand their options.
