Henry County Health Center is a Critical Access Hospital located in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, serving the surrounding Southeast Iowa region since 1921. The campus consists of 74 beds, including 25 acute care beds and a 49-bed long-term care facility called Park Place Elder Living. It operates as a community-based health center, with patients who are often local residents and their families. On July 1, 2021, Great River Health began operating the center under a management partnership intended to provide financial stability, strengthen emergency medical services, and expand local health services while keeping care managed locally. In addition to core care, the organization has supported community initiatives and service enhancements, such as a needle disposal program with the Henry County Sheriff's Office and diabetes education resources.
