Christ is our first love.
Jesus Christ is the central focus of our worship, our identity, and our hope. He is the one we strive to emulate, endeavor to proclaim, and long to know. Our desire is to be captivated by Him in every aspect of life, living every moment to enjoy and realize His presence. He is our source of joy and satisfaction and it is Christ who is the head of our church. Everything we do is done to bring glory to God through the authentic life worship of His Son, Jesus Christ. He is our first love.


We are a people under grace.
We are an imperfect church filled with imperfect people who have been rescued and loved by the grace of God. Grace is God’s favor that we could never deserve, initiate, or be worthy of. Grace defines us, upholds us, and is based solely in the person and work of Jesus Christ. We believe that God’s grace is available to all people, no matter who they are, what they have done, or where they come from, because God’s mercy is loving and kind. We are a people under grace.


We desire to make Him known.
From Lynchburg to the other side of the world, our passion is to show Jesus Christ to the nations. We desire to share the love and hope that we have experienced in Christ and to lead others into salvation and spiritual maturity as followers of Christ. In obedience to God who first loved mankind, we now desire to go to others so that all might hear of the truth and salvation that is found only in His name. God’s love is demonstrated in His longing to draw peoples from every tribe, tongue, and nation to Himself. We desire to make Jesus Christ known.
