The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on protecting Williamson County's architectural, geographic, and cultural heritage and guiding downtown Franklin's revitalization through historic preservation. Based in Franklin, Tennessee, the organization traces its work to 1967 and operates The Franklin Theatre and the Downtown Franklin Association, along with its newer Franklin Grove Estate & Gardens division. Its preservation efforts include notable sites such as The Franklin Theatre, Roper's Knob, portions of the Franklin battlefield, and the Old Jail.

It educates the community by bringing history to about 3,000 school children each year through the Heritage Classroom program and by offering walking tours of downtown Franklin. It also organizes events and festivals such as Main Street Festival, Heritage Ball, Pumpkinfest, and Dickens of a Christmas that draw hundreds of thousands of locals and visitors to downtown Franklin annually. In May 2025 the foundation hosted its 8th Annual Preservation Symposium, continuing its role in regional historic preservation.
