Herzl Camp was founded in 1946, by the Herzl Camp Association. It’s mission has remained consistent over 70 years. Herzl Camp is a welcoming, independent camp where young people become self-reliant, create lasting Jewish friendships, and develop commitment and love for Judaism and Israel. Herzl Camp creates a vibrant Jewish community of future leaders. In 2008, the Herzl Camp Foundation was formed to ensure Herzl’s future. The Herzl Camp Foundation inspires donors to invest in Herzl Camp’s power to transform the lives of Jewish youth. They advance the mission and goals of Herzl Camp by encouraging philanthropic giving, serving as responsible stewards of assets, and building lifelong relationships with camp’s donors.
