Heuser Hearing Institute is a nonprofit medical campus dedicated to supporting people with hearing and balance disorders. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, it has served the region since 1948, evolving from the Louisville Deaf Oral School. The campus comprises the Heuser Hearing & Language Academy, which provides preschool and kindergarten programs for children with speech and hearing challenges. The Heuser Hearing Clinic houses a full-time team of audiologists, otolaryngologists, and researchers, serving patients of all ages. The Heuser Early Intervention Program offers home-based services for infants and toddlers through Kentucky and Indiana First Steps programs. As a nonprofit within the medical practices field, Heuser Hearing Institute serves people with hearing and balance disorders and their families through education, clinical care, and early intervention across Kentucky and Indiana, and in 2026 it announced expansions of offices in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe along with renovations planned for its Louisville campus.
