Heydt Designs is a boutique home and garden design firm located in Sausalito, California. Projects include quality new homes, gardens, remodels and renovations. Leigha Heydt, Principal, has been in the home and garden design business since 1994. She began her career renovating homes in the Bay Area, has owned and managed a landscape design/build business, and has provided residential construction services for her clients as a builder. Currently she licensed by the State of California as a Class B General Building Contractor, providing complete design services for residential new construction and remodeling projects throughout the Bay Area. Highly detailed and comprehensive in her approach, Leigha is a natural communicator and facilitator. Throughout the process, she assumes the role of client liaison and client advocate. Green values have always been a priority for Leigha. Since studying in the Conservation and Resource Studies Department at the University of California at Berkeley, Leigha has continued to advance her education, and that of her staff, through national as well as local non-profit and business organizations dedicated to green building.
