We have developed an artificial lift solution for unconventional wells using multiphase compression.  Our solution is broadly applicable to a variety of wells, and can be used instead of or in addition to other forms of artificial lift, including gas lift, plunger lift, and beam pumping.  Our proprietary technology has been developed extensively over the last several years, and features the ability to operate continuously through slugging inlet conditions, accompanied by varying pressures and flows of both liquids and gas.  In addition to providing customers with the ability to enhance production and increase reserves, thereby leveraging the existing well stock capital investment, Hicor’s compressor also features a zero-emissions design for the product and potentially the broader well pad.
 
Hicor has successfully run field trials in a variety of wells in the US oil patch.  Its liquids-tolerant machine has completed many thousands of test hours across demanding conditions, including both field and field-simulated conditions in a closely monitored lab environment.  Significant increases in production have been demonstrated in the field – for example tripling the rate of production for well that was on plunger lift – that results in payback periods of less than one year.
