Hifas da Terra is the first biotechnology company which covers the mycological universe. It offers the widest selection of organic products from a natural resource: mushrooms. Species as Shiitake (Lentinula edodes), Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) or King trumpet mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) grow on organic substrates such as wood. This way, we obtain first quality products which grow under a 30 year old chestnut forest. We integrate innovation and ecology in each of the processes which we perform for obtaining mushroom products free of pesticides and heavy metals. Growing higher quality mushrooms we get the best products concentrating essential amino acids, polysaccharides, proteins, minerals, vitamins and a variety of enzymes which help us take care of our health. Our work is integrated in the environment to be respectful with each new project we undertake. We recycle 90% of waste materials we produce, reusing forest residues to feed our biomass heating system and, moreover, we collect rainwater in one well adapted to the ozonization of water. Mushroom growing is carried out in an area of 120.000 square meters. Thanks to our constant innovation we employ our mushrooms to develop new foods and dermocosmetical products from mushrooms which meet the highest quality standards: organic and natural. In addition, our forest brings oxygen and helps maintain the health of Galician forests betting on the recovery of native species such as the chestnut tree.
