Highland Resources is a Houston-based real estate company involved in the development, construction, and management of real estate assets. It serves as an equity partner in multi-family residential properties, office buildings, and retail projects. The company was founded by Herman and George Brown, who previously led Brown & Root and started Texas Eastern Corporation; after the oil and gas operations were spun out in the mid-1980s, it has continued to focus on real estate.
