Highlands Community Church is a religious institution based in Renton, Washington, serving the local community and, since 2009, a second location in Kent. Its origins trace to 1943, when local Protestant churches organized to serve Boeing employees living in wartime housing; in 1946 Wallace Wilson helped establish a permanent church, with its first service held in Renton. The congregation expanded over the years, reinforcing its presence and impact both locally and beyond. Leadership at Highlands has evolved over time, with Jim Amandus serving as lead pastor from 1989 and Jesse Campbell assuming the role in 2018. In December 2019 the church appointed Kerry as Executive Pastor of Operations, bringing leadership in operations to the church.
