Highline Academy Charter Schools is a tuition-free charter network in Denver, Colorado, operating within the Denver Public Schools system. Opened in 2004, the network now comprises two campuses—Highline Academy Southeast (K–8) and Highline Academy Northeast (ECE–5)—serving more than 1,000 students with 51–200 employees. Highline provides a liberal arts education with small class sizes, data-informed instruction, and enrichment in art, music, Spanish, and physical education. The curriculum emphasizes a whole-child approach focused on inclusive excellence and rigorous academics, with the REACH values—Responsibility, Empowerment, Aspiration, Citizenship, and Honesty—guiding student development, and serves families from more than 50 countries. The network has engaged in external partnerships and recognition, including collaboration with the Colorado League of Charter Schools and the ACT Advocacy Network, and received the Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award in 2019.
