The Highliner Lodge is a premier sport fishing destination located in the “city” of Pelican, Alaska (pop ~50). It boasts some of best fishing in Alaska, with the largest average halibut sizes and highest king salmon catch rates in the state. Designed for the avid fisherman and globe-trotting meat hunter, the lodge features fully guided ocean fishing, upscale dining, professional fish packaging, and a friendly staff that many come to think of as extended family. The Highliner Lodge employs 6-8 seasonal fishing guides and about 12 shoreside staff who take care of guests, process fish, cook, clean, and maintain boats/buildings. Our fleet of 12 boats ranges from newly constructed 30' North River walk-arounds with top of the line electronics and power, to our 50' custom wood hull live-aboard commercial salmon troller, and the 91' Emerald Island Mothership for overnight sport-fishing excursions.
