Hilco Transport, Inc. is a Greensboro, North Carolina-based truck transportation company with roots extending to the late 1990s, when it established its corporate headquarters after purchasing land in 1998 and completing construction in 1999. Its services include a municipal solid waste hauling operation that serves a broad range of industrial customers. In 2005 the company expanded into liquid propane transport, a division that has grown to become one of North Carolina's larger propane carriers. Hilco built a new facility in Kannapolis, North Carolina, and later acquired Lada Trucklines in Duncan, South Carolina in 2010 to strengthen coverage. Its fleet comprises over 350 power units, with late-model equipment maintained in-house by certified Class A mechanics on a five-year replacement cycle, and the company has pursued partnerships to improve efficiency, such as a 2017 collaboration with IMI Products to enhance tire wear and fuel efficiency.
