The Hill Aerospace Museum is a history-focused museum situated on roughly 30 acres at the northwest corner of Hill Air Force Base near Ogden, Utah. It originated in 1981 as part of the United States Air Force Heritage Program and opened in 1986, later relocating to its current facility in 1991; today it offers close to 100 aircraft across two indoor galleries and an outdoor air park, along with thousands of artifacts illustrating aviation history related to the Air Force, Hill AFB, and Utah. The museum operates a STEM education program housed in the Lt. General Marc C. Reynolds Aerospace Center for Education, aiming to foster interest in science, technology, engineering, and math and engaging more than 40,000 K-12 students each year. Its collection and exhibits serve a broad audience of visitors from across the United States and from other countries, reflecting its role in the Museums, Historical Sites, and Zoos sector with a focus on U.S. Air Force history. In recent years, the institution has pursued partnerships and events with external organizations and hosts public programs such as Open Aircraft Day, with plans for September 2025.
