HiWEB is a Tehran-based telecommunications company founded in 2003 as Dade Gostar e Asr e Novin and operating under the HiWEB brand across more than 450 cities in Iran. The company employs between 501 and 1000 people. HiWEB holds Fixed Communication Provider (FCP) and trunked radio licenses, and in 2016 secured a contract with Iran's Ministry of Communication and Information Technology to deliver high-speed internet over 4G to more than 25,000 villages. In 2016 Vodafone partnered with HiWEB to help modernize its mobile network and IT infrastructure. HiWEB has indicated plans to participate in the Tehran Stock Exchange and pursue an initial public offering, with approvals reported in 2017.
